TUL @ Office Max- I’m Digging These Pens and Highlighters

I’m really impressed by Office Max’s line of pens and highlighters. My first purchase from the TUL line was made a few years ago on a normal shopping trip for office supplies, it was a four-pack of their roller ball pens. I’m a gel ink fan myself, but the store I went to was out of stock of the gel ink variety and I was eager to try the brand, so I settled on the roller balls. And I was pleasantly surprised. I not only enjoyed their large barrels and smooth ink, but their bold appearance was great for writing checks and everyday usage.

The rubber barrel of the pencils provide for a comfy and sturdy grip, which I need as a heavy-handed writer ( I purchased the .07 mm lead). While the chisel tips and rich liquid of their highlighters allow for a smooth covering of any text. You do, however, have to allow a few seconds for gel ink to dry before using the highlighters. But this is typically fine for me since I highlight more printed items than handwritten ones, and also because I’ve yet to find a highlighter that does not smudge to some degree on one surface or another (anyone know of any?).

Overall, I think the TUL line is ideal for anyone who wants an efficient, visually appealing, and affordable line of writing tools.
