We live in a society filled with valuable, yet dying art forms: customer service, family-owned businesses, “excuse me’s”, “thank you’s”. The list goes on and on.

Included in this list of endangered species are handmade paper products. So, imagine my delight when I discovered Colette Paperie. Founded by Keli Catalano in 2007, Colette Paperie specializes in creating hand-printed paper gifts including stationery, journals, and sticky notes.

What I love so much about these products, aside from their craftsmanship, is their originality, creativity, and soft muted tones. Simply looking at them relaxes me and makes me nostalgic. I would definitely smile at the sight of receiving one of these in my mailbox from a friend or a loved one (or even a stranger).
