01 Aug Back-to-School with the Acme #2 Pencil And Pen Set & Crayon Pen Collection
With back-to-school season upon us, I thought I’d mark this momentous occasion (and one of my favorite times of the year as a junkie) with these apropos finds from ACME Studio, Inc.
In case you haven’t heard of ACME, they design absolutely beautiful and creative fine writing instruments and other accessories, and have been aptly described as “the Swatch of the pen business” and “experts in Pop Culture.” Founded in 1985 by Adrian Olabuenaga and his wife, Leslie Bailey, ACME originally focused on jewelry design and architecture before venturing into fine writing tools in 1997. And as they say, the rest is history.
The Acme #2 Pen and Pencil Set are sure to bring back memories of the first day of class and the familiar feel of freshly lined notebook paper. Packaged in a composition notebook inspired gift box, both the rollerball pen and mechanical pencil feature a twist to deploy feature, smooth lacquer finish, and faux erasers and sharpened encasing.
The Acme Crayon Retractable Rollerball is a colorful and nostalgic ode to days gone by for us adults. Sold individually, and available in seven colors, these beauties are sure to spark great conversations and maybe your imagination as well.
I don’t currently own any Acme products, but I’d love to add the Composition and Crayon Pens to my collection. What about you? Do you own any of these or another ACME pens? Let us know how you like them!
