The Pentel EnerGel has quickly become my favorite every day pen, hands-down. I’d initially tried the EnerGel in the 0.7 tip (and I even have a few EnerGize pencils). And while I liked the 0.7 model OK, I recently purchased the 0.5 needle tip, and what a difference!
What I like about this pen is that it’s a balanced writing tool. It has all the features I like in a pen: a long and sturdy barrel, a firm grip, gel ink, it’s a nice weight, and it’s even made from recycled materials. My only complaint is that I’m unable to find the 0.5 in the same variety of colors as the 0.7 version.
