Looking for a sustainable way to jot down your thoughts and to-do lists? If so, Ogami stone notebooks just might be the solution. Made in Milan, Italy these 8.25″x 5″ notebooks are tear-proof, waterproof and made of limestone. The notebooks are made of REPAP (“paper” spelled backwards), which consists of 80% calcium carbonate and 20% nontoxic resins, and according to the company, is manufactured using a process that’s “respectful of the environment.”
The Ogami notebook is available in two versions, the Stein Notebook and the Wilde Stone notebook, in an ode to authors Gertrude Stein and Oscar Wilde. Both notebooks sell for $14 and are available at Zady.com. I’m going to purchase one just so I can feel the texture!
