Nothing goes better with a nice pen than a great journal. And like so many of my other office supply obsessions, I always carry a journal of some sort with me. Sometimes I use my iTouch when I’m in a rush or I can’t readily find my bound ones, but there’s just no substitute for the feel of quality leather and weighted paper at my fingertips. On a recent shopping trip to a local bookstore (did i mention I’m a serious bibliophile too?), I discovered a fabulous new set of journals by SpiceBox that not only captured my attention but my money too. Sold in sets of two, I found these journals appealing and attractive due to the hand stitching and genuine leather look of the cover, compact size, simple design, and the fact that you get the option of two different colors per set (I choose the black and brown combo). I purchased a set in the 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and the pocket size, both contain 176 lined pages.
