To say I want a MacBook Pro badly, would be the ultimate understatement. I have a picture of this beauty on my vision board, I recently visited it at The Apple Store in Las Vegas’, Fashion Show Mall, and every now and then I even visit it online too. I’m totally smitten. I got my first computer when I was in the 4th grade, it was an Apple desktop, and I’ve loved them ever since. I have fond memories of playing games like “The Black Cauldron”, writing my first research papers, and connecting with my cyber pen pals via Prodigy (anybody else a Prodigy alumni?). Aside from going against the grain of the “PC establishment”, I love Macs because of their graphic capabilities, innovation, and of course their incomparable design. I currently own two laptops and have commandeered my mom’s too (it has a better processor), but I despise them all. Why? Because I spend upwards of 12 hours a day online and I do A TON of work on my computers, simultaneously– everything from blogging, writing, photoshopping, and shopping, all of which require a large amount of memory and speed. My computers lack both, and it’s absolutely frustrating to see that menacing hourglass and “Firefox has crashed” message when you’re in the middle of a project or a busy day. Now, I’m not saying that there aren’t other PC’s that could satisfy my dilemna, but I want a Mac. End of story. I’ve had my fill of subpar laptops and I’m ready and willing to plop down more than a few Benjamins to get exactly what I want, and what I want is the MacBook Pro. Are you a Mac or a PC user?
