With the news today that Apple is working on the iPad2, I’ve finally found a silver lining in the fact that I don’t own one yet- which is pretty hard to do. Every time I see someone with an iPad I swoon and tear up a little on the inside, sorta like the way Wendy Williams’ mouth waters whenever she talks about food. I really want one badly, but then again, who doesn’t? But that price tag is nothing to sneeze at and with so many other financial priorities right now, I’ve been deferring my dream of iPad ownership for the time being- or at least until I read today about April 3, 2011. This is the rumored date/time frame that Apple will release the iPad2, and needless to say, when my longing for one will yet again reach new levels as they unveil what are sure to be at least a few new features.
Aside from the release date, other rumors surrounding the iPad2 include the fact that it may have a SD Card Slot, a dual core CPU, a USB port, front and back-facing camera, wide range speakers and more. I’m not sure what the iPad will or won’t have, but what I do know for sure is that I plan on getting myself one this time around. And I’ll definitely be getting the Wi- Fi+ 3G version. I’ve learned the hard way, after purchasing a iTouch, that having your favorite gadget without having a constant connection is beyond maddening!
